10 civil society organizations, foundations, youth centers, and community-based organizations in the Noyemberyan Consolidated Community received contribution within the framework of the “Smart Noyemberyan” project.

The subgrants aim to promote the participation of the local population in the community decision-making process

From April 16 to 24, 2024, the “Smart Noyemberyan” project team visited Armenian-lived areas in Los Angeles. The head of the Noyemberyan Community and local entrepreneurs joined the team as well.

The goal of the visit was to establish long-term cooperation between Glendale and Noyemberyan, fostering partnerships and attracting investments for the development of the Noyemberyan Consolidated Community.

The meeting between students of the Leadership School and schoolchildren from various settlements of the Noyemberyan Community led to the launch of another exciting initiative within the framework of an established collaboration.

On April 27, in collaboration with the Community Capacity Development Practice Hub and the Leadership School, a traditional meeting with Leadership School students was held at Noyemberyan High School. The event brought together around 60 students from the communities of Noyemberyan, Koghb, Voskepar, Koti, and Archis.


On November 28, the CCD NGO team hosted Jeffrey Warner, Deputy Chief of Political/Economic Section at the US Embassy in Armenia, Linnea Duvall, Political Officer at the US Embassy in Armenia, and Lilit Ohanyan, Political Specialist at the US Embassy in Armenia. During the meeting, the CCD NGO team presented the progress, upcoming actions, and expected results of the “Smart Noyemberyan” project.

On July 29, 45 teenagers from Noyemberyan community went to the educational and sports summer camp located in Tsovinar village, Martuni, Gegharkunik region. The aim of the camp is to bring young people together and to share effective skills on leadership, active participation in community decision-making process and healthy lifestyle. The teenagers will have a full 10-day agenda in the camp, which will combine rest with educational, cultural and sports activities. Sports and cultural competitions and events will be held for the campers: various trainings, sports and intellectual games, hikes, discussions.
