“Tavush Agribusiness Association” team will be participating in the annual “Tradeshow Food Specialities” which will take place on October 1-2, 2018, at the Expo Houten, (Utrecht, The Netherlands) hosting about fifty thousand visitors from different countries. At the 2-day event well-known in Europe, Tavush region agribusiness representatives will present an assortment of local dried fruits, meat products, honey, herbal and berry teas, wines and preserves.

On 18 August in Ijevan Sculpture Park a Job Fair was organized with the initiative of “Community Center for Development” Territorial Cooperation NGO. The event was attended by Vahe Ghalumyan, Tavush region Governor; Deborah Grieser, USAID Armenia Mission Director; Gonzalo Urriolabeitia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to Armenia; Eurasia Partnership Foundation team members, World Vision Armenia team members, Ijevan, Noyemberyan, Dilijan and Berd Regional Employment Centers’ teams and many other local and foreign guests.

The aim of the training is to assist jobseekers to reveal their human capital, to set career goals and develop an action plan to achieve those goals. In the result of the training the participants will develop communication skills needed in everyday life, particularly in getting a job, they will highlight the obstacles in the job finding process and the possible solution to these obstacles, as well as get acquainted with job searching tools. Each participant will develop his/her CV and a sample cover letter.

On 9-17 June, professional training for start-up entrepreneurs were held in Berd, Tavush region. The aim of the trainings is to support young businessmen in improving their professional knowledge and skills, in establishing new businesses, in attracting additional financial resources for implementation of innovative ideas in the field of production and service.

On 12 July “Carrier Skills Training” started in Dilijan.

On 28 June, Carrier Skills Training started in “Community Center for Development” Territorial Cooperation NGO office. The training is organized within the framework of the “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project which is co-funded by the European Union and The Government of the Republic of Armenia.
