On July 29, 45 teenagers from Noyemberyan community went to the educational and sports summer camp located in Tsovinar village, Martuni, Gegharkunik region. The aim of the camp is to bring young people together and to share effective skills on leadership, active participation in community decision-making process and healthy lifestyle. The teenagers will have a full 10-day agenda in the camp, which will combine rest with educational, cultural and sports activities. Sports and cultural competitions and events will be held for the campers: various trainings, sports and intellectual games, hikes, discussions.
The participants will have an opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge on first aid and emergency preparedness for self-defense and quick assistance to those in need. The campers will get acquainted with their peers from Yerevan and regions of Armenia, develop plans for further cooperation, share experience and enjoy their summer vacation.

The event was organized by “Community Capacity Development Practice Hub” formed within the framework of “Smart Noyembryan” project funded by USAID. The participation of teenagers from Noyemberyan community in the summer camp program was carried out with the support of Yura Harutyunyan, head of the "Yerkrapah" Volunteers Public Organization Noyemberyan group.
